Humanitarian Response and Development (HRD)
MISSION
To restore dignity to conflict-affected humanity through Peacebuilding, Psychosocial, and Nutritional Support.
DESCRIPTION
Humanitarian Response and Development (HRD) is committed to restoring dignity to conflict-affected humanity by integrating peacebuilding, psychosocial, and nutritional support. This mission is carried out in collaboration with refugees and host communities in Adjumani District.
ELEMENTS OF OUR MISSION:
1. Peacebuilding:
HRD fosters a culture of non-violent conflict resolution among conflict-affected communities through community dialogues, mediation training, and promoting peaceful coexistence.
2. Psychosocial Support
We integrate psychosocial aspects into all responses, providing mental health support, trauma counselling, and community-based psychosocial services. This approach builds capacity for collective decision-making and future-oriented reflection.
3. Nutritional Support
HRD addresses malnutrition through regular nutrition assessments, referral pathways, and supplementary feeding programs for children, lactating mothers, and special needs populations.
